MY STORY

I’m a mother first, after all that’s what led me to being a fitness coach in the first place. After childbirth I wasn’t confident with the way my body had become, and I also felt deep down inside that there was something I could do about it to rebuild my confidence...that’s when I turned to fitness (10 years ago when my 12 year old son was 2.) I’ll be the first to admit I’ve been through more challenges in life than one would ever imagine. I’ve experienced homelessness just 2 weeks after I birthed my son. I’ve been in unhealthy relationships, depression, isolation, lost sense of self and purpose. However through all of that (plus more) the one thing that has always remained constant was my belief in myself, but I highly doubt I would’ve made it this far if I didn’t have God and if I didn’t take care of my health. Through everything I’ve been through, good and bad, I used fitness as my outlet to keep me mindful of who I am and what I’m capable of. It’s hard to believe in yourself and get to that next level if you don’t take care of your health. My goal is to help as many women as I can discover their healthy outlet through my simplified fitness training plan.
